Preparing for summer
The last weeks have been rather busy... mainly cause Jose and I were preparing the applications for funds from CINERGIA (again, and again, and again).
Time will tell if we get lucky and busy or if we will have to sit down, face rejection and wonder how to do it all over again.
But we are almost finish and now basically what is left for me to do is to wait for my parents. They are coming to Norway for the THIRD time.
Just that now is gonna be so much better. I have a new life, a new love, a new family... and I will have my parents to see that for themselves and share it with me.
We are going to our summer holiday place in northern Norway:
Gåsvær
Travelling from Bergen to Trondheim by plane and from there we are taking the Hurtigruten; considered one of the world´s most beautiful boat trips. Once in Gåsvær we will see the midnight sun, enjoy the sea, the smell of summer... forget about everything for 3 weeks and live in a world where time flows differently.

Dear Pauulo and Linn,
These are just a few words to let you know that I've survived a heart-attack in Greece (spectacularly, and on the small beach we frequent there), and - more difficult - 4 days under surveillance in a Greek hospital. Greek prisons are notorius, but they have wisely kept the hospitals a well-guarded secret - the doctors, however, were first-class!
So I'm back in Bergen, healthy and active again, but with a shorter vacation behind me than planned. Which will enable me a longer vacation in the dark half of the year - South-East Asia, again!!!
More positive news: "Balloons" have enraptured audiences in as diverse countries as Australia, Greece, Papua New Guinea, Taiwan and Vietnam. Laughter, enthusiasm and lots of praise from all places - copies have been distributed and are greatly and widely appreciated.
I'll have a short vacation (coming week-end in Copenhagen, then back to work next wee, and a final check-up of my heart at Haukeland that week or next...
Looking forward to seeing you both, as well as José and Ana Catalina, when we are all in Bergen... I've heard that you, Pauulo, and Nikolai have formed a Mutual Adoration Society with plans to make music - GREAT!!!
